Webmasters please note: There is embedded HTML code that needs to be edited precisely in this form to reflect your own WeatherWarn Setup. You need to edit the following:

  1. Email addresses for your WeatherWarn list accounts. This is where the request for subscribe/unsubscibe will be sent.

  2. The web server location of the BriFormMail CGI application used for form to email conversion needs to reflect the correct time zone server.   Example: eastern.weatherwarn.net  Comments and instructions are in the HTML code. 

  3. The web address on your server of the "AfterPage" Email Confirmation page. This page tells the user to wait for a welcome email before proceeding. Many users don't pay attention when entering their email address. This gives them a pause and encourages them to make sure they got the signup "welcome email", which ensures they entered their email address correctly.

  4. The web address on your server of the "Finished" Email Confirmation page. This second page tells the user the process has completed successfully once they click on "Proceed" in the "Afterpage". The address is in the AfterPage HTML document, not in this document.

There is also embedded Java Script that will check the email entry for validity. Make certain that your browser supports Java Script to test this feature. For example, try entering an incomplete Email address or one such as www.myname@somplace.com

  1. Type your email address below, check it for spelling please!
  2. Press the Subscribe button ONCE ONLY
  3. The confirmation page will appear when your email has been accepted.

  Your email account will be subscribed to the KXYZEmail-Iowa WeatherWarn mailing list.

 

Be SURE your email address is typed correctly!
HOW TO UNSUBSCRIBE:
  1. Type your email address below, check it for spelling please! Also, it MUST be the same exact address that you used to signup with. For example: if you used the email address:
    myname@email.msn.com  to signup but you now type in
    myname@msn.com  it will not work because they aren't the same!
  2. Press the Unsubscribe button ONCE ONLY
  3. The confirmation page will appear when your email has been accepted.

  Your email account will be removed from the KXYZEmail-Iowa WeatherWarn mailing list.

 

Be SURE your email address is typed correctly. If it is not, you will not be removed from the list. Be sure to use the SAME ADDRESS as you signed up with.
